About Edit Rx

Jen Creer, MA
Founder and Director

Edit Rx was created in response to the growing need for writing and editing assistance with manuscript preparation and grant applications in the medical world. Jen Creer has a strong publication success rate, and has written several funded grant applications for NIH, NCCAM, HRSA, AHRQ-BRIQ, and The Donaghue Foundation, among others.

imageJen began editing scholarly manuscripts for clinical researchers in the 1980s. After obtaining a Master's Degree in English and teaching university writing courses, including technical writing, she presented a workshop on manuscript preparation for NAPCRG, became a fulltime writing consultant. Her clients credit her with being a strong writer, excellent editor, and for returning projects to them quickly. Jen has been a keynote speaker across the United States and Canada, providing instruction about manuscript preparation. She has led writing retreats internationally, and has secured more than $2M in grant funding for two institutions in 2006 alone. She boasts 16 manuscripts published in peer-reviewed journals and that number does not include manuscripts that are still under review.
